Van een Poolse vriend (journalist Tomasz Teluk) ontvingen we een rapport over het ontslag van personen die in het EU-land Polen een eurosceptische bijeenkomst wilden organiseren.
Over vrijheid gesproken! En bedenk: “Polen” heeft een belangrijke stem in Brussel!
Fired Because of the EU treaty critique!
Dear Friends of liberty!
Two people in Poland lost their jobs because of co-organizing eurosceptical conference “The EU Constitution: Pro or Again”? Dr. Andrzej Misiolek and Wojciech Glowkowski – conservative libertarian activists from The Union of Real Politics (UPR) were fired immediately from privately-owned Silesian College of Economics and Administration (www.ws) and Silesian Pedagogical College (www.ws). Dr Misiolek were the Rector in the WSEW and the Director of Developement in the WSEA. Mr. Glowkowski was a Director of Administration in the WSEA.
The owner and the president of both schools Dr. Miroslaw Czapka wrote the document explaining that they lost jobs because of trying to take part in the conference critizing the EU constitutional treaty. Czapka was scared that his schools will not receive EU subsidies after organizing such conference.
The conference against the EU constitution was firmed by new think-tank The Independency Foundation (www.niepodleglosc.pl). One of co-organizers was Tomasz Teluk – contributor to the TechCentralStation and Fellow of the Centre for the New Europe. The main speaker of this event was Prof. Vladimir Bukowsky – one of the most famous Soviet dissidents.
Bukowski is comparing the EU structure to the USSR, regarding to the documents of Soviet Politbureau. He was imprisoned for 12 years. Asked: what would happen in the USSR if someone try to organize the meeting criticizing authorities, Bukowski answered: the same what was happend in Poland with Mr. Misiolek! The cenzoriship, like in a Stalin era, is still live in Poland in 2005.
