Dit wordt georganiseerd door enkele vooral Klassiek Liberale organisaties. Hoewel deze niet puur Libertarisch zijn, staan ze wel erg dicht bij de minarchistische libertariërs. (Soms zelfs geen verschil, al valt op dat er in KL-organisaties in het algemeen meer (oud)politici betrokken zijn. Veel libertariërs zien hen zeker als medestrijders in de juiste richting).
Onder de sprekers zijn Frank van Dun en Toine Manders (Toine op donderdag 6 augustus, Frank nog niet bekend bij ons). Dit geeft aan dat er op dit seminaar ook belangrijke lezingen voor libertariërs zijn!!
Liberty Seminar
For the third time an international seminar on political and economic liberty will be organised in the mediaeval University town of Leuven, Belgium, from August, the 2th till the 8th 2009. This is an organisation of the Institute for Economic Studies, joined by the Foundation for Humane Education, the Mises Youth Club and the Flemish classical liberal student organisation LVSV.
Spend three days with 40 undergraduates, recent graduates or graduate international students exploring liberal ideas, hearing lectures from top faculty, and discussing opinions, thoughts, and ideas all day and into the night. Accepted applicants are awarded scholarships, covering the cost of the program, room and board on a college campus, and materials and books.
