Op vrijdag 4 februari zal in Brussel weer het “Liberty Ball” worden georganiseerd.

Een groot feest. Best leuk om eens mee te maken. Met een grote mogelijkheid om andere vrijheidslievende personen te ontmoeten. En misschien contacten te maken met personen die je kunnen helpen je plannen sneller of beter uit te voeren.

Als waarschuwing moet ik er wel bijzeggen dat het niet puur libertarisch is, maar ook wel een “conservatief” tintje heeft. Maar ook daaronder zijn waardevolle personen!!

P.J. O’Rourke at the Liberty Ball in Brussels

I am delighted to let you know that the 2011 Liberty Ball will take place on Friday, February 4th in Brussels.

The 2011 Liberty Ball will commemorate the centenary of Ronald Reagan (born February 6, 1911). Our speakers will revisit his courageous leadership during the Cold War, his accomplishments that led to freedom for so many, and his enduring legacy as an icon of hope around the world.

Best-selling author P.J. O’Rourke will be our keynote speaker. Cited more than any living writer in The Penguin Dictionary of Humorous Quotations, Mr. O’Rourke is the best-selling author of of 14 books including Republican Party Reptile, Give War a Chance, and On the Wealth of Nations.

As always, the ball will feature a champagne reception, a seated dinner, and dancing to a full swing band. This is a black tie event.
