  1. Voorstander van Alaskan independence maar wel VP van de union worden? Ja, lekker principieel. Nuff said.

  2. Grappig dat zowel OsamaObama als McCain voor een running mate gekozen hebben die hen meer schade dan voortgang oplevert. Zijn er nu echt geen verstandige lieden meer te vinden? Of zijn deze zo verstandig dat ze hun lot niet aan deze clowns willen verbinden?

    Anti-condoom-, -voorlichting-, -tienerseks- en -abortusmuts Palin heeft een hoogzwangere dochter van 17, en Biden beweert dat Obama zich ergens in de grensstreek tussen Pakistan en Afghanistan ophoudt…

    Ofwel allemaal zaken die het grote stemvee aan de rechterzijde wil horen! Bovendien is ze zeer goed gebekt (itt McCain). Uitstekende keuze dus.

    Vergis je namelijk niet. De gemiddelde Amerikaan vind al die zaken (Anti-condoom-, -voorlichting-, -tienerseks- en -abortus) helemaal niet erg. Ook in Amerika is de bevolking slechts eenzijdig liberaal.

    En zonder die stemmen van die conservatieven, was de USA ook al lang een socialistisch land als de EU geworden. Immers Obama leunt weer op de kiezer die op economisch vlak staatsinvloed wil.

    Dat aards-conservatief Limbaugh – die McCain totaal niet zag zitten omdat hij te liberaal was – haar wel ziet zitten is goed voor de stemmen. Limbaugh spreekt namelijk de taal die heel veel Amerikanen ook spreken.

  5. Leuk vrouwtje om te zien 🙂 . Schijnt af en toe wel eens geweer leeg te schieten op een wolf of moose. Alaska lijkt me wel een land dat vol zit met onafhankelijke figuren. Zij lijkt er daar een van en das een pluspunt.

    Voor de rest kan me die hele amerikaanse verkiezingspoppenkast geen meter boeien. Echte keuze is er immers niet.

    Zij staat volledig aan de kant van McCain en de neocons als het gaat om thema’s als Empire, oorlog als heilmiddel tegen alles, de onderschikking van de amerikaanse buitenlandse politiek aan de belangen van Israel. Enige gedeelte’s uit het verhaal van Raimondo:

    The anti-Russian trope has been taken up with special alacrity by the McCainiacs, who are touting Palin’s position as commander-in-chief of the Alaska National Guard and her proximity to the Russkies to highlight her readiness to take the helm in the Situation Room. I wouldn’t be too surprised to hear tales of Commander Palin’s derring do when confronted with previously unreported Russian incursions across the Bering Strait….
