Wellicht geïnspireerd door de goudpetitie van de Vrijspreker, heeft Ewout Irrgang van de SP vrijdag tien relevante vragen gesteld over de Nederlandse goudvoorraad. Vragen variëren van: is er goud uitgeleend, waar ligt het goud en waarom zijn goud en goudvorderingen bij elkaar opgeteld op de balans. Alle vragen zijn hier te vinden en vanwege het grote belang hieronder nog eens gekopieerd.
Dit kan een belangrijke stap zijn bij het ter discussie stellen van de werkwijze, macht en het bestaansrecht van een centrale bank en van DNB in het bijzonder. Een maatschappij is gebaat bij vrijheid. De vrijheid om je eigen ruilmiddel te kiezen is daarbij van essentieel belang.

Heeft De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) een deel van haar goudvoorraad uitgeleend?
Zo ja, hoeveel en aan wie?

Waarom zijn in het jaarverslag van DNB het goud en de goudvorderingen bij elkaar opgeteld in plaats van deze beide posten afzonderlijk te vermelden?

Kunt u een overzicht geven van het jaarlijkse rendement dat het uitlenen van goud de afgelopen jaren heeft opgeleverd?

Waar ligt het fysieke goud van DNB? Om welke locaties gaat het en hoeveel is er op die locaties opgeslagen? Om welke reden is het goud nog steeds op deze plaatsen opgeslagen?

Wat was de belangrijkste reden voor DNB om het goud te verkopen? Zijn de kosten van het opslaan van goud een reden geweest om goud te verkopen? Hoe hoog zijn de kosten om het goud op te slaan?

Kunt u bevestigen dat er sinds 1991 van de 1700 ton goud ongeveer 1100 ton verkocht is?
Klopt de waarneming van Peter de Waard 1) dat er door vroegtijdige verkopen van het goud ongeveer 30 miljard euro is gederfd? Zo nee, wat is volgens u dan wel het juiste bedrag?

Hoeveel is er in de afgelopen twintig jaar van de staatsschuld afgelost met de opbrengst uit
goudverkopen? Wordt volgens u de houdbaarheid van de overheidsfinanciën verbeterd door enerzijds de staatschuld af te lossen en anderzijds de goudvoorraad te verkopen?

Hoe verhoudt de grootte van de goudmarkt zich tot de grootte van de markt in goudderivaten?
Wat zijn daarvan de mogelijke consequenties?

Dutch Socialist Party has asked the Secretary of the Treasury for the whereabouts of the Dutch Central Bank’s gold
On Friday 16 September, the Dutch Socialists Party (SP)’s spokesman for financial affairs, Mr. Ewout Irrgang, has asked the Dutch Secretary of the Treasury 10 detailed questions about the gold supposedly held by the Dutch Central Bank. Questions vary from: where is the gold? why are gold and gold receivables one line item? how much gold is loaned out? All questions (in Dutch) can be found here and cpied below.
This is potentially a big breakthrough for global awareness on how central banks hide crucial info from the public and the disastrous effects central banks have on society. The society benefits from competitive currencies, chosen voluntarily by the people.

If yes, how much and to whom?

Why are gold and gold loans stated as one line item in the annual report 2010 instead of mentioned as 2 separate items?

Can you give an overview of the yearly yields of the gold loans during the past years?

Where IS the physical gold of DNB? At which locations and how much is where?
What is the reason that the gold is still at these locations?

What was the most important reason for DNB to sell the gold in the past? Are the storage costs a reason?
What are the actual costs to store the gold?
